There, I've finally made it. MY Liberty fabric bikini-top (the bottom was impossible to make, I just wear it with a simple black swimsuit-bottom). Homemade pattern / I began this two years ago, when I was still breastfeeding / Liberty jersey fabric (I think it's the Poppy & Daisy) bought in Paris a few years ago.

Depuis le temps que je voulais le faire, que j'en rêvais: je l'ai. MON haut de bikini en Liberty (le bas n'a pas été faisable, mais finalement, je l'ai porté avec un bas de maillot noir et c'était très bien comme ça). Patron maison / modèle commencé il y a deux ans, retouché, repris, replissé et amélioré chaque année / jersey épais imprimé Liberty (Poppy & Daisy?) acheté aux Tissus Reine à Paris.

Oh the joy to observe your little one manipulating water and sand, pouring, touching, decanting, building himself... Maria Montessori would be very proud, honey! (Little Liberty shorts in situation, and T-shirt with a red car on it: his favorite, what else?)

Oh le bonheur simple de se transformer en petite souris pour l'observer en train de manipuler l'eau et le sable, verser, toucher, transvaser, patouiller, se construire... Maria Montessori serait fière de toi, mon amour! (Short Liberty maison en situation et tich' Monoprix à la "oiture" rouge, son préféré: ben tiens!)

Yes, I did it! In a few hours, brand-new wonderful Liberty-fabric shorts for my little boy. Homemade pattern (with nice pockets and contrast fabric!) And last but not least: he looooves it!

C'était inespéré mais j'ai réussi! En quelques heures, un tout nouveau short en Liberty Tatum rouge. Patron maison (avec poches et tissu constrasté!) Et cerise sur le gateau: il adooore son short! 

Liberty acheté à la Droguerie (il y a plus d'un an!) et coton vert griffé Sacrés coupons.

And at the same moment, in the next room, Mummy can sew! (aAAallleluiah!)

(Don't worry, I'm not a terrible mother: this scene happens at 6 pm, after a full day of activities, games, parc stuff, etc. "Mummy really needs to do something for her, sweaty..." And it's only a cute cartoon.)

(Pas de panique, cette scène a lieu vers 18h quand j'ai besoin, après une journée entière activités "poussin", de me poser un peu. "Maman a besoin de faire quelque chose mon chéri..." Et puis l'âne Trotro, c'est tellement bien!)
